A6657: The All-Black Mesh Carrier
A6657 is a rectangular soft carrier in black mesh fabric, with solid fabric only along the edges and base: mesh walls on every side, a zip front door that drops down, a zip top opening, two long carry handles, a shoulder strap on swivel clips and a removable fleece pad. Black is the only listed colourway.
How It Differs
Most carriers in the range put mesh windows into a solid fabric body; A6657 reverses the ratio, with mesh making up most of each wall. That trades privacy for ventilation and visibility — the opposite choice to A6634, which keeps its sides largely closed. Its loading is front plus top, like A6631, but without A6631’s contrast piping or five-colour range. For a mesh carrier with measured figures, A6694 is 27.9 × 27.9 × 43.2 cm, weighs 998 g and is rated to 6.8 kg.
What the Sample Fixes
A6657 has no dimensions, empty weight or weight rating on record; those come from the approved sample along with mesh gauge, pad material and strap hardware. The marketing images use lifestyle wording about safer journeys, which this page does not repeat — any performance statement needs a test on the agreed construction.
