Sizing and safety decisions for sling carriers

A sling carrier is worn against the body, so fit is the specification. The strap has to adjust across a wide range of wearer heights, the pouch depth has to suit the animal's body length, and the internal safety tether has to reach the animal's harness without letting it climb out. These three dimensions should be fixed in the brief before any fabric is chosen.

Purse-style carriers add a retail dimension: the bag is judged as a fashion item at shelf, so structure, hardware finish and lining quality carry as much weight as the carry function. MOQ, samples and lead time

Standard MOQ is 300 pcs per style per color. Samples are 3-7 days and bulk production is 15-30 days for light customization or 20-45 days for heavy customization after approval. What size animal do sling carriers suit?

Most sling programmes are built for small dogs and cats. Give us the target weight and the body length range and we will size the pouch and tether to that brief rather than to a generic size chart.

Can the strap be adjusted for different wearers?

Yes. Adjustable webbing with a padded shoulder pad is the standard configuration. Specify the wearer height range you are selling into so the adjustment range is set correctly.

Is a safety tether included?

An internal D-ring tether is standard on our sling patterns. It should be used with the animal's own harness, and that instruction belongs on your packaging and hangtag.

Can you produce PU leather or fashion finishes?

Yes. PU leather, quilted nylon and canvas are all quoted at the same 300 pcs MOQ. Material-level compliance testing for the destination market is arranged per order.
