A6656 Is a Bicycle Basket
A6656 mounts on a bicycle handlebar, not in a car. A clamp-on bracket with shims and fixings for different bar diameters holds a fabric basket stiffened by an aluminium alloy top frame, and two padded handles lift it off to be carried as a shopping basket. It measures 33.0 × 22.9 × 25.4 cm (13 × 9 × 10 in), weighs 816 g (1.8 lb) empty and is rated to 5 kg (11 lb). The reference shell is 600D Oxford cloth in Grey/Black with a front zip pocket carrying a reflective strip, a rear zip pocket, two side pockets and wear pads on the base.
What Sets It Apart
Unlike the car seats, it is sold as much for groceries as for a pet, and its empty weight is published because the basket’s own mass sits on the steering, which matters to a cycling buyer.
